The list for the busiest airports in the world (2015) has been announced by ACI (Airports Council International).

Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport has retained its position as the world’s busiest airport with more than 100 million passengers in 2015. Atlanta Hartsfield witnessed a 5.5% increase is passenger number from 2014.

Atlanta Hartsfield is within two hour flight from 80% of the US population. Because of its strategic location as a major port of entry into North America, Atlanta Hartsfield has become a major connecting hub.
