ATR 42
ATR42 is a twin-turboprop, short haul regional aircraft which is manufactured by ATR. ATR was formed after a joint venture between France’s Aerospatiale (now Airbus) and Italy’s Aeritalia (now Leonardo).
ATR42 was first introduced in December 1985 and around 500 of these aircraft have been built till date.
